Two Fabulous Events prepared for you on June 1st next Saturday—A great talk from Wharton Marketing Prof and an exciting Welcome Dinner with Wharton Admits!
Part I:  Chinese Brands in Western Markets—Where Are They? 
China has been very successful in growing business over the last decade partially driven by their ability to do low cost manufacturing.  Given there are significant margins associated with brands, how can Chinese Brands further develop beyond the borders of China? 
David Reibstein, a very humors, charismatic, intelligent Wharton Professors of Marketing, will be sharing his view and knowledge on this topic.


Part II:  Wharton New Admit Welcome Dinner 
Three years ago, Tomer started the good tradition of welcoming Wharton Admits with great food, bai-jiu, and wild games.   This year, we will welcome the New Wharton Admits in the same fashion.

Bio of David Reibstein
Dr. David J. Reibstein is the William S. Woodside Professor and Professor of Marketing at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.  Dave has been on the Wharton Faculty for more than two decades.  He was the Vice Dean of the Wharton School, and Director of the Wharton Graduate Division. In 1999-2001, Dave took a leave of absence from academia to serve as the executive director of the Marketing Science Institute.  He previously taught at Harvard, and was a Visiting Professor at Stanford, INSEAD, and ISB (in India).  Dave is currently the Chairman of the American Marketing Association.
Dave has authored seven books and dozens of articles in major marketing journals.  His most recent book is Marketing Metrics: The Definitive Guide to Measuring Marketing Performance. Dave was featured in Fortune one of the eight “favorite business school professors” and the only one in marketing and Business Week as one of ten “business school professors to watch.  He has consulted for companies ranging from Fortune 500 firms to start-ups, including Google, GE, British Airways, Royal Dutch Shell.  Dave has run executive programs in over 300 companies more than 30 countries.  He was a co-founder of Bizrate.com (Shopzilla) and on the founding board of And1, the basketball apparel company.  He has also served on the board of The Fleisher Art Institute, American Marketing Association (AMA), Marketing Accountability Standards Board (MASB), And1, Shopzilla, XMPie, SeniorHomes.com, and several other companies.
